Diazepam: dental surgery.. ? - diazepam before dentist
Well, I must say that I have a fear of dentists start - fear of the massive, because I'm younger.
Approx. 5 weeks in one third of one of my teeth fell during eating.
In my last appointment, my dentist told me that I need to be 4 different fillings and teeth.
I'm so afraid. They told me this story two weeks ago, and I can not accept that on my head, I can not concentrate on anything because I was so afraid of how painful it is (and I know he does not like my brother went through it last year) and a little .. The idea to go there scares me.
My mother is diazepam, that your doctor gave you last month, when she had vertigo and an airplane to climb.
My mother recognized the need to take diazepam, or other sedate - and I - just so I can go out the door.
I do not see how I could leave my house - it feels like I have been sentenced to death.
The date is coming soon and I need to know, it's ok to take this drug before entering my appointment?
I know I should ask my dentist, but I'm still afraid of him.
Are there any side effects that are difficult to operate for the practice?
Thank you in advance for any help

I've never been afraid of the dentist, come from a different angle. But over the past four years, I have to fill and left. Normally, when you inject the mouth, half the side of his face was asleep, and I call it the sympathy vote! Try eating and drinking, after filling and everything you can do is drool. Well, the last two days, no numbness, no drooling and not friendly at all! You have a new technique that does not appear and include injections, with a kind of air pressure rather than the old needle and because this new technique that can literally numb only the tooth and not the "whole face, I complained and the Dentist told me he had some "old stuff" and I was able to solidify a face if he wanted to give, but I have done andg, the receipt at the time I realized my face was numb. A word to the dentist, explain your concerns and are happy to assist you. In dentistry, like medicine changed and what we experienced in the past anymore. Good luck
You need to keep with the dentist before taking a sedative before the dental speak ........ likely that the dentist can prescribe something for anxiety
I was also scared by dentist. She gave me diazepam to go, fearing the dentist.
It uses nitrous oxide also help to relax.
Tell the doctor your fears and see if they're laughing gas, so that you feel relaxed.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
